William Wallace

I joined the governing body in early September 2020. I have spent my working years in education in the Primary sector, initially as a teacher but also as a subject co-ordinator, deputy head and as a head teacher, but am now retired. I believe that the early years in education are vitally important for all children as it makes a great impact on them throughout their lives and their lifelong learning. It stands them in good stead for their future.

I am currently a governor at another large primary school in Wigan and so can draw on my experiences from there and also from the support of Governor Services.

I am a single person but have an active social life. I enjoy long walks with my dog Ted, particularly in North Wales, wider travel experiences, attending concerts and theatre productions (drama, musicals and dance) held locally and around other parts of the country. I enjoy life to the full and all it has to offer.
