The senior leaders carefully monitor teaching and learning during whole class, small group or one to one sessions. Staff are given feedback and support to ensure that teaching and learning is always at its best.
Termly pupil progress meetings will monitor how each child is doing and this information will be shared with you. As for all children parents evening is a key time to discuss your child's progress and Pupil Action Plans. You will be given the expectations for the Year Group and your child's levels related to this. The class teacher will be able to offer advice on activities that will support learning at home. Informal meetings to discuss your child's progress can be made via the office with the class teacher and SENCo.
The home school diary is always a two way system and can be a way of communicating small bits of information. School will make reasonable adjustments, where necessary to review PAP's more frequently to take into account your views.
