I joined the governing body in early September 2020 as the Staff Governor. I am privileged to be the Year 2 Teacher, Assistant Head teacher (SENCO), Curriculum Lead, and Designated Teacher for Children Looked after at Hindley Junior & Infant School. I am looking forward to working with the governors, and exploring the various viewpoints that each member will bring to the table.

I have taught, for 12 years at Hindley Junior & Infant School initially as a NQT before being appointed full time as a Class Teacher, to then working my way up the ladder to become the Assistant Headteacher with responsibility of SEND. My passion for teaching originated from being able to provide children with a broad and balanced curriculum which promotes a positive mindset for challenges ahead in future life as well as seeing many family members work in the teaching profession. Outside of school, I love family life and spending time with my nephew Ralph.
